I keep hearing about this "host" thing? What's a host have to do? It seems pretty easy. It is pretty easy . . . here's what it entails:
- either suggest the event or offer to host a regularly scheduled event or one suggested by another member
- write up a blurb (or at least send the details - when, where, what and an email address for ?s, rsvps)
- be there on time and keep an eye out for anyone who got in touch with you
- some events require more planning, like making reservations, etc., but for most events, this is it!
We're always looking for ideas for new events and for hosts for them. If you have an idea or are an interested (or at least willing) host, please join us at an upcoming planning dinner, or let our Events Chair, Tab Abbey, know.
